Iggy Azalea Deactivates Social Media After Topless Pics Leak

May 28, 2019

It looks like Iggy Azalea was utterly emberrassed and enraged by the fact that somebody stole uncensored topless photos from her 2016 GQ Australia photoshoot and posted them on her social media accounts. Shortly after they were leaked to world to see she deactivated her Instagram & Twitter accounts. The censored versions are still up on GQ's site, but it's unclear how the uncensored versions were leaked on her social media accounts.

The GQ story that featured the photos revealed that Azalea gifted the topless pics to plastic surgeon Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, who is responsible for her nose and boob job the same year.

Iggy thanked Ghavami in an Instagram post that year for his birthday, writing, "Happy birthday @DrGhavami. It might seem obvious I’d hold the man I owe my fabulous nose and breasts to in high regard. But vanity aside; Ash you’re hilarious as hell, talented, eclectic, a progressive thinker & someone who supports women in their choice to do what they want with their OWN bodies (tons of men don’t share that sentiment). So cheers to you! I’m proud to call you my friend."

She also released a statement where she said "I feel blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad and a million other things," her note said."Not solely because I did not consent to this -- but also because of the vile way people have reacted."

The "Fancy" star vowed legal action against whoever leaked the images.

Nino Munoz, the photographer who handled the GQ assignment, posted a note on Instagram Monday about the controversy.
